Unfortunately, we’ve seen many marriages end in divorce because one or both spouses couldn’t deal with some type of long term health issues, infertility, or miscarriage to name a few. You would think the spouse on the sideline would have great empathy for their partner who is going through any one of these traumatic experiences.
Just one issue like a miscarriage has ended many marriages. But this week’s guest Kevin and Steph Mason have dealt with an electrocution (really serious kind), twice being told they couldn’t have children, suffered a miscarriage, had brain surgery, and being diagnosed with cancer?
Really??? How could one couple deal with all of this? Not only did they survive all of that but they have three beautiful children to boot (can you say miracle?). You know how they say, “don’t sweat the small stuff”? Well, this couple can say it and mean it.

I love the format of the book. You left in the lined out edits. Your initial thoughts that maybe you shouldn’t have said.
But this book is absolutely for those that want to be entertained, looking for hope and encouragement, and maybe feel good about themselves as a husband.
Electrocution, brain tumor, brain surgery, infertility (2x), miscarriage, and cancer. Any one of these can take a marriage out, how did you two do it?
Kevin, you show incredible commitment to your marriage and Steph with all she went through but you also made a few bonehead moves like the bowling incident. Please share that with us. - just want to make sure our listeners don’t think you’re perfect. LOL

Biography:
Kevin and Stephanie have ventured into a new phase of their lives as authors, speakers, and podcasters. The podcast ‘Tell Us a Good Story‘ gives them an opportunity to share their crazy experiences from their 17+ years of marriage, plus swap some behind-the-scenes stories with guests who have a good story to tell.
Kevin Mason has served in various finance and accounting roles during his 18-year career with Fortune 500 companies and Big Four public accounting. Kevin graduated from Ohio Northern University with an Accounting degree and received his MBA from Ohio University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and financial consultant to Storyside Church in Bellville, Ohio.
Stephanie Mason graduated from Capital University and is a Registered Nurse. Stephanie has worked in a cardiac step down unit, labor & delivery, and surgery. She currently works at a medical spa and lives in Columbus, Ohio, with Kevin and their three children.
